Fabi Santiago

I am a children’s book author and illustrator and also a printmaker. My illustrations are full of movement and bold, limited colours with a vintage quality reminiscent of lithographs. Screen-printing is my media of choice for creating picture books: I work by hand and like it that my illustrations exist in 'the real world'. My debut picture book has recently been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2017.

Please describe what you intend to exhibit and any projects you wish to launch at Ink Paper + Print: I'll be exhibiting my debut picture book 'Tiger in a Tutu' (both in soft cover and hardback) and original screen print illustrations from the book. I'll also be launching my picture book 'Paws Off My Book' and it's original screen prints and my new risograph series 'Cats in Boxes'.
